Dhanush and Nagarjuna’s much-awaited pan-Indian film Kubera is making headlines yet again. The film, directed by acclaimed filmmaker Sekhar Kammula, has locked massive non-theatrical deals, creating a new record for a Dhanush starrer.
The satellite rights of Kubera have been acquired by Star Maa, while the digital streaming rights have been bagged by Amazon Prime Video for a whopping price. With this, the film has set a new benchmark in terms of non-theatrical business. This grand project is produced by Suniel Narang and Puskur Rammohan Rao under Amigos Creations and Sree Venkateswara Cinemas LLP.
Adding to the excitement, the film is slated for a grand theatrical release on June 20, 2025. The anticipation around Kubera has skyrocketed ever since its announcement, as it brings together an exciting cast. Along with Dhanush and Nagarjuna, the film features Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead, while Jim Sarbh plays a crucial role.
Sekhar Kammula is known for his distinct storytelling, and fans are eagerly looking forward to seeing how he presents these powerhouse performers in a unique narrative. The film is being simultaneously shot in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi, making it a true pan-Indian venture. Adding further strength to the project is Devi Sri Prasad, who is composing the music.
